The Inner Court. The Sanctum Santorum. The Holy of Holies. It is the secret place of the Lord. A place where you hold private court with the Lord God of the universe. It is not a loud place. It is a place that’s set apart beyond the outer noise. Where reverence replaces performance and presence outweighs opinion. 

The inner court of the Temple of the Lord was sometimes called the court of priests. It is a place of ministry unto the Lord. A place of sacrifice, offering and the attending of the altar of the Lord. It is a consecrated place, and one which requires consecration to enter and partake. Proximity to God is never casual. Such nearness is a privilege and comes with the weight of stewardship and responsibility. 

In the Inner Court, one's identity in God is made secure.  A place of intimacy and  communion. A deeply personal space which must be stewarded with intentionality and love. And how wonderful it is that the Lord has made a way for us to enter His presence as ministers and children, to minister to Him, to enquire of Him, and just enjoy His presence. The scripture used - Hebrews 10:22, is a reminder of the invitation for us to enter the Holy of Holies, and with the fullness of faith that God is Lord and that His love endures. 

Those were the intentions and meditations during the making of this candle. This fragrance reflects the depth of the Inner Court of the Temple - steady, balanced, and quietly reassuring. The colors were chosen to reflect the glory and sovereignty of the Lord. Albeit, everything pales in comparison to God's glory. 

Geranium opens the scent with a subtle floral and refined brightness. Amber moves through the heart, warm and resinous, carrying a quiet glow. The base settles into layered musk - light and dark - interwoven with patchouli and tonka bean, creating a smooth, enveloping foundation that lingers with dignity and strength. It is deep without heaviness, intimate without excess. The colors reflect the interplay of fragrances.
