Anointing Oil - Abundance

In the Bible, cedar is known for strength and longevity. Sandalwood or Alum, was a rare and valuable material reserved for the Temple and the work of worship. Together, they point to 'Abundance', -  abundant provision of ancient material, that is stable, purposeful, and used for God's glory. While cedar was native to the Middle East, Sandalwood was imported from India. It was expensive, and came with the gold, silver and spices of from Ophir, which is known to be Southern India. Exquisite, exotic and expensive. This blend of anointing oil reflects that revelation of abundance. What God supplies to build, and what He supports, will endure.  This anointing oil can be used while praying for increase and the tenacity to sustain that increase.

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.” - James 5:14

“Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it and all its furnishings…” -Exodus 40:9

“Therefore God, your God, has anointed you… all your garments are fragrant with myrrh, aloes, and cassia.” - Psalm 45:7–8
