The Heart of Our Craft - Clean, Sustainable & Beautiful
Complete Grace Co. is a Moravian Falls based home fragrance and decor company, owned and operated by Arpana Sangamithra.
As a brand and company, we are committed to creating products which glorify God and help contribute towards the personal spiritual growth of our customers. Our products are conceived, conceptualized, created and promoted in prayerful atmospheres, under the guidance of Holy Spirit. We are committed to creating safe, non-toxic products which are clear of hormone and endocrine disruptors. With that at the forefront of our business, here is some information about the various components that are part of our candles and other products.
FRAGRANCES
We believe home fragrances should be clean, non-toxic, and safe for everyone. Each scent we offer is carefully curated and crafted to create a memorable experience. Our fragrances are a blend of toxin-free oils and essential oils, completely free of parabens and phthalates. Quality is our priority, and we take great care in selecting only the best for our candles.
WICKS
Our wicks are made from ring-spun cotton, reinforced with small amounts of paper for stability and an even burn. They contain no metals like zinc or lead, making them non-toxic, sustainable, and safe for your home.
WAXING ELOQUENT ON WAX
The most commonly used candle wax is paraffin, a petroleum by-product—but we choose not to use paraffin in any form. Instead, we are committed to using only pure soy wax for our candles. We don't use paraffin based stabilizers in our candles, either.
Why Soy Wax?
Soy wax is a natural, plant-based wax derived from soybeans grown in the U.S. The wax is processed in U.S.-based facilities, supporting American farmers and businesses. Because it is renewable, biodegradable, and sustainable, soy wax aligns with our commitment to creating environmentally friendly products.
Soy wax produces little to no soot, ensuring a cleaner, toxin-free burn. Any minor soot comes from the cotton wick, not the wax itself—making it ideal for those sensitive to allergens.
Soy wax candles burn almost twice as long as paraffin wax candles. The wax holds fragrance oils more evenly, enhancing both hot throw (scent when the candle is lit) and cold throw (scent when the candle is unlit).
Hot throw refers to how well the fragrance spreads when the candle is burning. Cold throw is the scent of the candle when unlit—sometimes, just leaving the jar open fills a room with fragrance.
CONTAINERS & PACKAGING
Whenever possible, we source our containers from U.S. manufacturers. However, to ensure the highest quality and variety, we also work with overseas suppliers—but always through U.S.-based distributors, continuing to support American businesses.
We believe in minimal, sustainable packaging, prioritizing recyclable materials whenever possible.
Repurposing your empty candle jar is easy.
Simply pour very hot water into the jar to loosen the wick holder, then remove it with pliers if necessary. You can also heat the candle jar over a wax warming plate to completely melt the wax and loosen the wick. Never pour wax down the drain—let it solidify and cause clogs. Instead, discard the melted wax and wick components in the trash. Wash the jar with hot water and soap, and it’s ready to be reused in a variety of ways.
We are also working on a candle refill kit so you can enjoy making your own candles with ease. Stay tuned!
Thank you for your support and trust.
