The Complete Grace Co. Story

Welcome and thank you for your time.

My name is Arpana Sangamithra. 

I hope our story encourages you, and our candles infuse peace and rest into your space.

'Complete Grace' is the English translation of my Grandmother's name. It is also a reflection of our season of walking in the complete grace and love of our heavenly Father. We desire for everyone to walk in the complete grace of what our Savior achieved on the Cross.

Complete Grace Co., was originally started as Phossify Candles in 2018 in beautiful Seattle, WA. Here’s a brief history of our origins.

2014 - 2018: The trajectory of my life had changed after some pivotal life decisions. After attempts at various endeavors, including starting a consulting business, and going back to school to earn a degree in Organizational Psychology, I found myself unfulfilled and directionless. It was at that time when I had a series of encounters with God, leading to deep healing and restoration of identity, purpose, clarity and confidence. The Lord gave me a charge, which was also the name of the company I was to start - 'Phossify'. Phos in Greek means light, almost exclusively used to refer to Jesus. The Lord was calling me to build a business which would also minister to people. I was inspired to bring Jesus Light to the world, and to do it with candles, one lit wick at a time.

2018: Thus started Phossify Candles, unlocking new realms of creativity and empowerment. It was not just a candle manufacturing business, but a ministry. In the meanwhile, I encountered deep personal loss and persecution for my faith. I was also sustained by God with great joy and satisfaction through this period, by the complete grace of God! 

2020: The world got hit with 'you know what'.  Trying to keep everything in balance, I desperately sought the Lord for clarity and direction. I knew that it was time to embark on a change in geographical locations. I always knew where I wanted to live in the future, but now, God was asking me to trust in His leading and make a pioneering move against all odds to a place I had never been to before. It took faith to even consider such a move, but I did take that giant leap.

2022- 2023: Amid global challenges, a new chapter unfolded, and we moved to Moravian Falls, North Carolina.

2023: In Moravian Falls, the candle business was revived.  In refining the vision, I realized that we had been walking in nothing but the pure and complete grace of God. Complete Grace Co. is a reflection of all that God has done for us, and is meant to bring inspiration, hope and courage to you.
