CANDLE CARE
First Burn:
Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface becomes a pool of melted wax. Soy wax has a memory, so the first burn sets the stage for subsequent burns. Allow your candle enough time to create a full melt pool during each use. This helps prevent "tunneling" and ensures an even burn in future uses.
Trim the Wick:
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch to promote an even burn and reduce soot. Wicks form mushrooms on the top as they burn down. Trim these every time you light a candle. This will ensure your flame does not get too high.
Avoid Drafts:
Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts. Drafts can cause uneven burning and excessive smoking.
Refrain from Overburning:
Avoid burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Give your candle a break between uses to prevent overheating. Overheated jars can crack and be dangerous.
Avoid Moving:
Do not move the candle while it's burning or the wax is hot. Wait for it to cool and solidify before relocating.
Storage:
Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration and maintain fragrance integrity
